Healing Smiles Charity Day 2025

At Rokeby Dental Surgery & Implant Centre, we believe being part of our local community means more than providing quality dental care. It also means finding ways to give back and support organisations making a real difference.

Since 2011, our Annual Charity Day has been an important part of our year. Each October, our dentists and team generously donate their time on a Saturday morning, with all proceeds from appointments on the day donated to a nominated charity.

Our patients have also embraced the initiative, with many choosing to book their regular dental appointments on Charity Day knowing that their visit is helping support a worthwhile cause. Together, our team and patients have raised almost $100,000 over the years.

Supporting Worthwhile Causes

Over the years, our Charity Day has supported a wide range of organisations, including SIDS WA, Cancer Council WA, Canteen, Saba Rose Button Foundation, Rett Syndrome Foundation, Solaris Cancer Care, Epilepsy WA, Variety – the Children’s Charity and the Harry Perkins Institute of Medical Research, among others.

Each year gives us an opportunity to learn more about an organisation and the important work they do within our community.

Supporting Healing Smiles in 2025

In 2025, we were proud to support Healing Smiles, a Western Australian dental charity providing free dental treatment to women who have survived family and domestic violence.

After learning more about the organisation and its work, our team was inspired to contribute to their ongoing efforts to provide accessible, trauma-informed dental care.

Our Charity Day was held on 25 October 2025, and thanks to the generosity of our patients and team, we raised more than $11,000 for Healing Smiles.

The funds will help Healing Smiles continue providing vital dental care and supporting women who may otherwise face significant barriers to accessing treatment.
