Veneers

Veneers – are thin pieces of ceramic or tooth coloured resin, which are bonded to the front surface of the teeth.

Veneers can be used to improve the appearance of teeth by:

• Changing the shape of the teeth
• Changing the colour of the teeth
• Masking stains
• Replacing small fractured pieces of teeth

 

The result is a completely natural looking smile

Tooth coloured resin veneers are applied directly to the teeth in one visit. They are more economic than ceramic veneers but are less hard wearing.

Ceramic veneers are very hard, wear resistant and non-porous and will keep their appearance far longer than resin veneers. They attract a higher fee but are more cosmetically pleasing than resin veneers.
